DESCRIPTION
Students complete the Business Studies award with a specialism in Marketing and Digital Marketing. Students will gain an understanding of the rapidly evolving area of digital marketing along with its companion subject Behavioural Studies. Together these subjects provide insight into why marketing choices are made and how people interact with the world, when making purchases.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Cert Standard or equivalent. Mature students welcome.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRESSION
Completion of the major award at Level 5 allows student to progress to a variety of courses. including Dublin City University DC 240 Marketing, Innovation and Technology, National College of Ireland NC020 Marketing Practice, Technological University of Dublin TU922 Marketing. Mature entry also available.
EMPLOYMENT
Students will have the opportunity to start in Junior Positions in a range of Businesses or to participate in Apprenticeship or Internship programmes.
